Old Isekai vs modern Isekai anime

What do you like when it comes to Isekai?
Do you like the old school stuff or would you prefer a modern Isekai anime? As for me, I don't have any such preferences.

and if we are talking about first came out isekai anime and current isekia anime, i don't see much difference lol
