I was about to say that......I think it's better to have the buttons above the banner......And, it'd be better to box them with appropriate colours......

I am thinking of not adding the same banner for the table heads.
In to other words, we will add a different banner to the buttons and such that they are clearly visible.

Actually, I have the same opinion......As far as your second part is concerned, I think it'd be better to place buttons above the banner, so, that the banner gets appreciated, if it turns out to be good.....What do you think about this suggestion I gave to Phoenix(post number #20):
