i got notifications with and without chrome open, do you have notifications blocked?

if that's on cherck your systems notifications

Are you using Chrome?
If so, try to reinstall Chrome after saving your bookmarks. That should usually solve these problems.

you will have to make sure that you reinstall chrome. it usually fixed whatever is wrong with it

Not really..was working on setting up a website for a friend a few days and now trying to add something to my blog..trying to keep up with a few manga though but they update pretty slowly

They are not for mobile phone browsers.
If you open MAF on a computer, you will be getting those push notifications . We will try to get them for phones as well, sometime

I see.. i use mobile so it's not for me. Is this push notification is like somekind of shortcut to view the alerts (even if we're not accessing the site)?

More like even if you don't open the site, as long as the browser is open on your computer screen, you will receive alerts from the browser directly.
You don't have to open MAF to see your alerts.
