I am not saying that you are a racist.....I'm saying that it's better to avoid racist jokes in public, multicultural forums, and, that too in forums where there are specific rules that ask you to prevent doing those things......
If that brings trouble to the forum, i will avoid them xD

Guess so =) But sometimes I feel an urge to get into pointless arguments like that ^.^
Pointless arguments are difficult to deal with.
I don't think you like to argue with others.

Pretty good =) China is an even better country than I imagined. They are building so much and so fast O.o Compared to Europe, there are very few tourists there, but even so locals are very kind and welcoming. Not a lot of people speak English there, that is about the biggest problem I ran into.

So how is the population?
Do you think it's full of people being the worlds most populated country and all?
Then did you learn any Chinese words sindar? :D

I didn't feel like it was more crowded than other countries I've visited. The traffic was pretty okay too. China is pretty big, there is enough room for the 1.3 billion people =) I am pretty sure India has three times more population density than China, so you might feel like China is pretty empty if you decide to visit it ^^

Not really. I knew the ni hao greeting before, and I didn't pick up anything besides it ^^'

I see.
I though it would resemble India, a bit. Seems like that's not the case here.
Well, you will learn stuff soon enough :D

Did you bring any souvenirs from China to your family?

Brought Chinese coins, tea, chopsticks, some miscellaneous items. I don't buy a lot of souvenirs, especially things that are just going to sit on the shelves =)

Chopsticks?
That's surprising :D
Are you planning to visit that country again? :D

I learned to eat with chopsticks, it turned out to be not that hard. Want to be able to practice some more at home =)

I hope to =) I really liked Shanghai, I think I would like to stay there again sometime in the future. And that city grows so fast, I'm sure in 10 years they will change it enough that I will find new staff to explore ^^ And there are great Chinese cities I haven't seen, I hope I'll be able to visit them some time too.

Isn't it really hard to eat have rice using chopsticks?
Can you do that too?

Yes. China's growth is really surprising :D
What is the best country in terms of tourism, according to you sindar?
Russian is excluded from this conversation :D

If you cook rice the way Chinese people do it, it is actually very-very simple to eat it with chopsticks. It gets hard when your meal come in big pieces, like dumplings for example. I was able to pick them up with chopsticks, but I kinda think you are supposed to eat big things like that with your hands =) Not sure though.

Oh you don't need to exclude Russia, it is pretty bad in terms of tourism anyway xD When I visit Moscow I always wonder how tourists are supposed to navigate through the metro, find their hotel and all. All the texts and signs are in Cyrillic, very little English translations, people mostly don't speak English too. It gets better though, but slower than I would have liked to.

I don't know about the best country for tourism. My tastes are kinda weird too, so even if I come up with an answer I would give it as a recommendation. I can say that so far I liked Germany most of what countries I've visited. It is a little unfair though, since I have spend there way more time than in anywhere else I've been.

In anime, we find people eating normal rice using chopsticks. I don't think I can master something like that.
But if you say that it's different, may be it is different in China.
Well, we do get attached to places with the passage of time.

So, in Germany do you find boards with English translation, often?

As long as the rice is a little bit sticky you'll have no problem eating it with chopsticks. It doesn't have to look different from normal rice you cook =)

Yeah, there will be English translations in places where you need them. And even if there aren't, you can still read it, since German uses Latin alphabet. Like you don't need to have translations for streets' names and such. Also there is just a lot of useful information where you need it. For example you can travel through the whole country on trains and you'll always have an easy way to know where which train will go; you buy tickets from tickets machines that have English menus, so for the whole journey you wouldn't even need to talk to people if you don't want to :D But if you do, a lot of locals speak English very well, and there are lots of people fro other countries, some will speak your native language too =)

I am not a fan of sticky rice at all. Well, Does the rice stick to the chopsticks?
That's really great.
I wish every country would make their tourist spots that friendly :D

Do you have only English universities in Russia, sindar?

The rice sticks together, so when you pick it up with chopsticks the piece won't fall apart =) Its hard to explain, but you don't even need to move the chopsticks, it almost feels like you are eating with a spoon. Very easy.

So what country would you name as the best for tourists? =)

No, all our universities teach in Russian, to my knowledge. At least all the big ones.

I will have to experience that to grasp the meaning in your words :D
I haven't been to another country before. So, I can't say anything :(
I am really surprised to hear that.

I believe there are some great tourist places in India and nearby countries too. Himalayas mountains seem like an awesome place to visit. Big cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai (Madara told me a lot about that one =) ) should be great to visit too. All in all, India should be somewhere in the top of that list =)

We used to be very isolated from the Western world, only after the end of Soviet Union we started to try to adjust. And during that period of isolation we developed a lot of our own ideas regarding education, as well as a lot of self confidence. Unfortunately because of that now every change in the education system meets resistance from the educators, even if that change would make the system more open for the international students.

Then I would go for thirupathi.
I thought we were talking about countries here :D Well, it's crowded all the time but everything is worth it.
I have been to thirupathi for a few times and every time it leaves a pleasant feeling within me :D
I see. That's sad :(

Yeah, I deviated a little ^^' It's nice that you have place you like visiting in your state =)
