Less than seven days from the publication of the final "Naruto" chapters, an announcement was made that gives "Naruto" fans everywhere reason to be excited: a sequel mini-series to "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippuden" is confirmed to be in the works for Spring 2015, according to Saiyan Island.Part 3 will reportedly feature the next generation of Hidden Leaf ninja. In other words, "the children of Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke and others," Saiyan Island reports. However, this will not be an extensive series; merely a mini-series. How many books/chapters it will produce, and whether or not an anime can be expected, is unknown at the moment.

Well, anyways, I don't think I'll be reading it..........Naruto is finished and they must leave it at that.........

Pretty sure it'll be a reason for him to close loose ends. Although I am sincerely hoping that it will allow room for a new installment of Naruto. I'd like to see what happens in the new age with the skyscrapers and all and how ninja's have adapted. I think a great new story with new characters could work well even if a time skip past Naruto's generation is needed. Who really though that they we're going to let this cash cow go? The Naruto Franchise is worth billions at this point. Boruto is coming...

For now, it's only going to be a miniseries (featuring the Naruto kids) but I believe if this manga continuation becomes successful, it will span.

Well we will still have a chance to see Naruto as a Hokage, even though the entire focus will be on the kids of the Rookie Nine.

miniseries yes!!!

but i like to watch how naruto lives a hokage life :)

I think people would grow to dislike Naruto as hokage, he seem to be pretty serious to not even give his family much attention.

every hokage was like that.....they have to take care of village and other stuff

Exactly, most hokage were like that, except for Minato probably. I'm still excited to see the adult versions of the Rookie Nine in the miniseries. Do you guys think that an anime version will be spawned out of this? That would be awesome to see.
