This has always been one of my absolute favourite cartoons since I was a child and even now is still one of my favourites.
From the characters to the songs to the art and every single aspect of this movie it is just wow...everything is so perfect I just love the songs from this movie especially who I am
Have you ever seen this movie? What are your thoughts?

I've watched mulan but never followed it cause it's from Disney, not a huge fan of em. Sorry it was the more enjoyable title of Disney's though tbh

Pretty good anime I just think it wasn't as interesting as the movies it followed. And since I watched it as an adult the amount of suspension of disbelief I had to do was a lot. Still, cool music and a nice story and I'm looking forward to what they are gonna do with the live-action remake.

Well then if that's not what you meant..what exactly did you mean?
I thought you meant that there was a similar movie from which this one was born
 
I still love this movie to this day, it was really well done and had a really good story. I know a lot of women too who have been empowered by it.

I was talking about the Disney Renaissance era which this movie is a part of, and the movies that came before Mulan in that era, like Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid which I thought were far superior.

Lion King and beauty and the beast I get but I don't think that Aladdin and the little mermaid are better than Mulan...the animation and everything else. Art, songs everything is just so much better

Animation is inevitably gonna be better, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid are about 10 years older than Mulan. Disagree with the others, Mulan doesn't really have anything particularly memorable, especially with Aladdin's Genie, that was a phenomenal performance by Robin Williams and there's a reason why it's still remembered by everyone.

So are you saying then that Mushu can't compare to that Genie? I find Mushu's character way more fun and memorable than that Genie. The genie was good but not as good as Mushu.I just love that little guy

Yes I am, Genie basically owned that movie, every single movie after that tried to replicate that and didn't have as much success, including Mulan which is pretty evident considering most people in the world remember Genie way more, and the fact that Aladdin was a lot more successful.
