Most relaxing genre you watch in anime

you pay for youtube?
the premium version but ads aren't too annoying on youtube. so why?

on average i watch (mostly listen) to youtube for 17 hours a day. as stated i listen so i just leave it on as well so give or take a few hours.

but if we were to say all ad's were un-skipable 5 second ads (not 30 second long skippable ones)

on average there's about 5 ads every 30 min video if i add that all up i personally think i get more paying but that's me and cause i use youtube more than daily lol

There's a sub-genre of Slice of Life called Iyashikei which is all about soothing and peaceful shows. Non Non Biyori is one of them and it's excellent.

Awww having River issues? lol
My relaxing genre would be anything comedic enough to lift my spirits. I wouldn't say a specific genre though as it could be anything like code geass to slice of life

i never thought code geass is relaxing blackrose
if anything it's nerve wrecking and i wouldn't want to feel such pressure.

hmmm
As I said different people would prefer different genres to help them feel this way.
Exhibit A..my point is proven lol

:D :D :D
yeah but that's not my point...for me more comedic stuff would fit here..while many others say it doesn't I have seen a lot of funny stuff in code geass apart from all the destruction

i am not entirely sure of that
i only remember the tragic things mostly and i don't remember the funny stuff. when you said funny, what are you referring to?

Cat incident and a few others

I think any story driven one with little to no plot, like Dot Hack Sign, lots of boring talking, put a person to sleep easily.

I guess any lighthearted anime where there are no real high stacks. Those self-contained episodes.
I grew up watching animes by Rumiko Takahashi so those for me would be a good example. Even in episodes with stacks the humour tends to make them quite delectable. Ranma and Rinne are two that come to mind.

I would want to say Slice of life or musical anime here
I can't really think of other genres being so relaxing to watch.
