Even the rent is more. I kinda envy the landlords who got three apartments to rent.
They could live their life in luxury without working at all
 

Yeah. Most of us will have to start from scratch. Initially it's hard but after we get some hikes it will be easier.
I have completed my probation this year. So, may be next year I could expect some hike

As for what I use...
I use my laptop for browsing and when I am working from home, I use it to connect remotely to apps . During that time, it's too slow and lags.
Well the ram is just 4gb, so I can understand I suppose.
I use it to run VMware but it's too much for it.

I use chrome all the time as it's fast and I am really used to it. I did try using Vivaldi before, but I came back to chrome.
Well, I have been thinking of getting a HP brand laptop with 16gb ram

Would you ever consider getting a desk top because you could get one with double the power for the same price as a high end laptop. I know some people need something portable but I built my self a good PC and then I just use a lower end laptop for other things.

In my hometown, we do have one but no one really uses it. Well, laptop is comfortable. I like sitting comfortably with my laptop.
Hmm... Also, we I need to travel to my hometown, I should have a laptop.
I do consider desktop for work though.... Right now, because of various stuff, I can't decide anything. Also my laptop is fine ^^
Low end laptop huh...I never considered it to be honest.
