Now this is a genre that everybody likes.. The protagonist and the antagonist are geniuses and there will be a blast of intriguing mind games which will make us entertained. Some are:
1. Death Note(one of my two all-time favorites across all genre)
2. Code Geass(another one of my two all-time favoritesacross all genre).
3. Psycho-Pass(Great dialogues. Fantastic antagonist).
4. Zankyou no Terror(Juz started watching this.It is very good).

Please suggest any other anime that you can think of that would fit this genre.

More Updates as of 2019:
Danganronpa VN's
Kindaichi Case Files
Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Monogatari Series
One Outs

I apologize for not really having anything to contribute to your list but I just wanted to say thanks because all of the ones you mentioned in your OP sound interesting. I will have to add these to my list To Watch. =)

So everything is considered a rip-off these days? Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo is about a guy playing detective and solving crimes -_- How can it be similar to Code Geass?

Oh! >. >I am not a big fan of Guilty Crown but it is an okay anime and it wouldn't be fair to call it a Code Geass rip-off. Their plots are different >.<

Their premises are the same, though..............

Just wanna leave Danganronpa as a perfect recommendation on here too. Not the anime....the 3 games. It has the most brilliant deductive work I've seen since death note. Also Nagito komaeda is a character I'd put on the same tier as L.

Wow this is the time when I used lots of periods like an idiot.

Yeah I've added other recommendations to the list as well. The anime itself was more like a battle royale over the top gory thing.
