The trailer looks really interesting. I'm definitely going to give this anime a try. What's with the brunette girl? Is she supposed to be the little girl's mother?

hard to say, hopefully find out in the first few episodes.
 
i really liked the trailer. i didn't expect a little girl like that, to be treated that badly. getting kicked is the worse kind of insult anyone can inflict.
