Who is the main protagonist that had gone through a lot man?
Naruto, Kaneki, and many more and all of them had gone through hell. Who do you think had gone through the worst?

It's to hard man...they have all been through some messed up stuff
 
I have seen too many characters man.
I could always name one character who had been through the most and that's Kaneki from Tokyo ghoul
 
I want to say Ed from FMA, lost all his family and then went on a long journey and hell to try and get everything back only to experience more hardships along the way.

his brother lost a lot more than ed.
al lost his entire body and had to live in an armor.
he felt inferior when taking to humans

I haven't watched it man.
I will watch it but nothing can make me more depressed than wolf's rain.

yeah, but at the same time Ed had to walk around knowing he did that to his brother and had the pain of watching all of his suffering. Plus he carried around the baggage of everything that happened on their dark night.

i agree but he didn't look like a freak like al.
i think he deserves even more recognition. don't you agree with it too? ed isn't the only one suffering on their dark night

But he feels responsible for everything man.
He feels guilty and carried that burden with him for a long time. He had gone through so much

why does everyone keep saying that al didn't go through so much.
if i lost my body and became an armor, i will be depressed for life and wouldn't know what to do about it
