Made in Abyss Vs The promised neverland, which is darker?

It's going to be an interesting debate for sure.
So, which is darker guys...I haven't completed the promised neverland....but it's a dark anime for sure....and made in abyss.....doesn't have that sort of dystopian setting....hmm.....so may be the promised neverland?
What do you guys think?
 
Haven't seen made in abyss.. but to me, the promised Neverland ain't dark tbh.. there are only a very few animes which I consider as dark imo.
 
Made in abyss. Human experiments, disfigurements, kidnapping, the strain of assention, actually showing the gorey stuff, the setting especially in the lower layers. It's easy to see.
 
I think Made in Abyss is genuinely dark without trying too hard and edgy. What it did well was that it both took us by surprise and also naturally shifted into being dark. Plus the entire concept and the events shown lend themselves to being dark.
Promised Neverland never really sold my on despair. I genuinely believed that the kids in Made in Abyss were helpess whereas in this case it was just talking talking and nothing was shown so I never really believed that any of them were in danger.

Oh.....kay....I thought everyone would side with the other anime.
 


I remember that anime
Someone recommended that to me....but I haven't really watched it. ....or added it to my list....it's known for gore....so....

;-).. for you TG is too much. Berserk needs PG.. I doubt you'll see this. Seeing twisted dark stuffs ain't a biggie to me and I been like this~.

Well, I don't exactly avoid gore....but what can I say, I can't stomach too much dark stuff.
Well, guess that's true for everyone. There is a limit to how much you can handle :P
