Before talking about this anime you need to know what Chunibyo is:


"is a colloquial Japanese term typically used to describe early teens who have delusions of grandeur, who so desperately want to stand out that they have convinced themselves they have hidden knowledge or secret powers."


As such this anime is about two people deep into Chunibyo meeting each other, falling in love and dealing with others who are also Chunibyo who trying to escape from their Chunibyo past. Overall its a delightful anime, funny and has a great cast of characters that you love. I watched both seasons and the movie and truly wish there was more to this.


Anyone else here watch this? I recommend it.
 
Season 1 was great, season 2 was cute and fun for a bit, but I thought it got got boring quickly and seemed pointless to exist.

and i think i need to give season 1 a try as it's liked by grungie who is hard to please lol

I honestly don’t know why you think I’m hard to please.
 
I really liked season 1 and the film. I didn't like season 2 all that much. It was a cute SoL show, not among KyoAni's best though. It does have some awesome animation and fight scenes.
 
Tried watching it but it just aggravated the piss out of me for some reason. Maybe I'll give it another go.

lol just being honest
you don't like the regular things and you try not to have too much expectations for an anime and you don't trust in rating as well

That doesn’t make me hard to please. I just don’t care for battle or mecha anime if that’s what you mean by “regular” things.
 
I have never heard of this.

I agree, season 2 could have been cut down, they could have made the movie its later season. Still, was a fun series, hitting a bit close to home about things not wanting to remember.

I never wore any patch myself so I can't say.
But sure enough one can't always experience it and it looks cute only in anime.
