and usually people try to get them from their favorite fan subs and for one piece i prefer kaizoku fan subs

If subtitles couldn't be a thing at all. I don't think anime would of ever made it out of Japan. We certainly wouldn't be talking about it right now and i definitely wouldn't spend my time learning Japanese just to watch tv

and not many would go out of their way just to see anime and they wouldn't learn a new language.

I probably would just have gotten into anime all the same, and just watched dubs. I mean, I watch subs because it's what I'm used to, but if I'd gotten into dubs, then I'd watch that all the same.

I forgot about dubbed. If there wasn't subbed and it never made it's way overseas. Do you think there would've been dubbed made?

Of course. Famous and popular animation is gonna make its way to where it 'sells' one way or another.

I know I would have trouble getting into anime, if they didn't have a dub that I could understand. Then again, I probably would actually try to learn the language, so I can watch anime if they don't have English or German as a dub.
