It's all confusing and I was sure he said that lari let him go when he agreed to lay low.
 
Well I thought she wouldn't cus she would be after him by now but I'm still not done reading this yet..will get to it soon :)

Even though river is a God now, shouldn't Lari still detest him? Or does she just not know who the river God really is?
Why would she seek his help?

yes
that's my point and i remember river saying he got to keep low and that's how he got released.

yes i agree and i really want that to happen fast and to river to defeat her completely.
