Kono Suba is about Satou Kazuma and his dysfunctional group that consists of a useless Goddess, a chuunibyou wizard who knows only one spell and a masochistic warrior who can never land a hit, while Kazuma himself is a low-level adventurer who lacks any strong skill. Together they participate in adventures in which they are never competent enough to complete and only do so by sheer luck or wacky hi-jinks. This is a great comedy series, one that functions as a parody of Isekai anime. The animation is also like amazing, far better than what I expected.
The first episode itself involves Kazuma being a NEET who tries to save a girl in the same way as Yusuke does in Yuu Yuu Hakushou from a truck, but it actually turns out to be a slow-moving tractor and he actually dies of shock, and his friends and family laugh at him at the hospital. The comedy is very mean-spirited though mind you, everyone is kind of a jerk and really weird. There's also a lot of fanservice so if you are put off by that you can avoid it. But the comedy is really strong and the characters are great as well, coupled with the great animation and music.
I really recommend both seasons, each 10 episodes.
