Just for fun do you think there are more anime girl fans than anime boy fans or is it the opposite?

like i said, i am just bored lol
and when you are bored you think about lots of irrelevant stuff and analytics.
 
In my personal experience, anime is a male-dominated viewer base, but I have no stats to back that up.

i used to think so back in the 2000s
but now i see more and more female anime fans and i think it's in par lol

lol i am no good. i trust sources and i usually get that thrown away from people in maf
 
Clearly there are an equal sized demographic for both male and female fans since they have genres specifically aimed at male and female fans. Shoujo and Shounen.

I wasn’t going for something like that. More like if a website has an unusually higher amount of female readers, it can skew the poll results to look like there’s a higher percentage of females than there actually are.

So that site might not be lying that 75% of the voters are female, but when your site has a larger female readership than other sites, it doesn’t accurately represent the community as a whole.

and i usually try to gather the info from generic sites like mal or anilist.
 
Probably about the same ratio.
It used to be a male dominating field but not anymore and there are many anime female fans now.
