Haha.. It's tough. Usually, they just give something to distract the kid and them "bam".. It's been like that for generations... some hindu traditions have been existing for ages....

Must have been crazy to go through it. I am glad that I wasn't born there. I probably might have cried myself to death as an infant, when they pierce my ears. I can't even imagine.

You pointed out that I haven't been using them, so I wanted to change that and try it again. I like the emoticon but if I use them too much, no one would take me seriously.

Ehhhhh? Since when is using too much emoticon equal to no one taking you seriously? I use them a lot. Posts almost feel incomplete without them for me o.O
Well, it is all up to you x) No one is forcing or judging you based on the emoticons you used here so you can relax and do what you want :cheers:

When you use too many emoticons people would get distracted by looking at them and eventually, the main point of focus would be lost.

Sometimes, I actually cannot type a sentence without have the particular emoji going with it. I just change the sentence then lol

I would usually change the emoticon than sentence. It's a difficult task to change a sentence for an emoticon. You will get bored of it
