Is there a character where a gender thinks is amazing but the other gender disagrees?

I am sure female characters are liked by male fans and the vice versa.

and i am not sure if there are any characters universally liked because they are sexy lol
 
I don't think so
Usually there are gender differences and you can't force people to like an anime character
 
i agree with that too rinko
but there are anime characters who don't like to be upfront lol. like moe characters or tsundere characters
 
I can understand Tsundere but why Moe characters?
Don't they seek more attention in general?
 
I have not seen a character that one gender loved but the other hated but I have seen women gush all over some male characters and been like I don't get it.

those are from shoujo genre
and you can't expect much else from the genre all and they believe guys are down to earth
