Is anime slowly getting influenced by other media?

I don't think that's the case but I see people discussing about this often in MAF.
So, I wanted to make a thread to get the actual opinions of our members here. What do you guys think?

it used be more brutal lol
most of the older anime doesn't have censored language and a lot of things are explored in them but now, most of the translations are also censored.

There's a lot less child nudity, sexual harassment, and has a bit more wokeness in the mainstream shows, so yes I would think western influence is slowly influencing the content. It's an improvement in my book. It's not like they've completely tossed their own uniqueness aside anyway.

They do stick to Japanese references and culture but the old school style exploration of various anime genres, has been lessened considerably.
