In your opinion. What was the worst year for anime?

I haven't been around anime for that long either but I feel like ever since I've watched anime there was at least one anime from each season I liked.
 
Every one of the recent years have been good. You'd have to go back before 2015 at least to find bad years but even that's subjective.
 
That's a good question. I don't think there has ever been a bad year. There's always a lot of variety of shows to choose from, and even if a majority of the shows were filth, there's usually a sleeper hit or two hidden somewhere to enjoy.
 
This year. Just a string of underwhelming anime, perhaps the only year where an anime didn't "blow up" if you will, especially in a year where everyone's stuck at home and are more likely to watch stuff.
 
probably this year without a doubt
everything is delayed and we don't have any enough anime and good ones are already delayed
