I'm a Gamer

Actually i always associated myself as gamer than anime/manga fans. I spend more time playing game than enjoying anime/manga, i also witnessing the changes of graphic from 2D to 3D, it was such commotion back then

Anyway.. in my younger days i enjoy multi-platform game like Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Shinobi and Beat em up game like Street of Rage, Golden Axe, and of course fighting game like Street Fighter and Mortal kombat. Everything change when i owned Super Nintendo, that time i got chance to play Dragon Ball Super Saiyan Densetsu which is RPG-ish and i like it very much. Then come 7th Saga which is traditional RPG, i play the game and i convinced that RPG is the best genre i ever played.

Come PlayStation and PlayStation2 era, i totally discard every genre except RPG and Strategy. I indulge myself with classy and awesome collective of RPG's. After that i got myself a PC, this time i get emulator to play every RPG's that i haven't played in SNES and Sega, because lot of RPG wasn't translated back then and even if i buy the cartridge it was too expensive because i was only a school boy when i play SNES

So what all of this have something to do with anime/manga? Well it's actually affected me because as RPG-er i placed story as the number one factor that i rate, so i'll give good rating to anime/manga that having good story. Yup that's it

My gaming started with the PS1 in early 2000s. I had that forever because parents didn't buy me an Xbox which was maybe a good thing it being crap. I switched to computers eventually don't know when exactly with some games like counter strike 1.6 and mostly single player games. The only next big changes were starting multiplayer gaming with left 4 dead and then battlefield bad company 2 which remain some of my favorite games till now. And finally getting into dota 2 which is a chapter in itself. A 4 year addiction which is a chapter in itself which fucked up my college everything.

I didn't have a console ever actually. Always had a PC. First experiences of gaming I can remember are with Road Rash, Claw and Prince of Persia 3D. Then I remember playing a lot of simulate games like Age of Empires, Zoo Tycoon, etc. After that it was you know the big one, GTA. I liked GTA 3, I really really liked GTA Vice City and I loved GTA San Andreas. After that it was the Prince of Persia Trilogy and a few of the earlier CoD games. I kinda realised I never liked FPS games so I stopped playing them.
After that it was the Mass Effect trilogy, Assassin's Creed series and so on but unfortunately my PC is out of date(been like that for a few years) now so I kinda go to my friend's place from time to time to play the latest games.

But GTA SA was like the flagship game for PS2 I think it's the best selling PS2 game of all time.
No I don't like Football so never tried it.
As far as RPG is concerned I did play some but don't remember the titles. In recent times I guess, Skyrim, Mass Effect and Witcher come to mind.

True it was so popular but still stick to my genre, i'm pretty rigid in my gaming life than my anime/manga life, i'm not sure why

I'm not much of a gamer but I have had my fair share of gaming experience. I played ps3, gameboy, nintendo, xbox 360 and I can't remember the others names right now...I use to be addicted to Grand theft auto..don't ask me whish one cause I liked them all, tbh I just liked killing people lol and also the missions were cool. I also enjoyed many of the racing games out there like boating and need for speed..I crashed more than anything but I enjoyed it to the max when I played.
Let's see, what else....ummm
I loved mortal combat, crash bandicoot, street fighters, x men, yuh gi oh and a whole lot of others...my memory is a bit foggy but when I was younger I guess I could say I was a bit of a gamer. Not to the extent of you all though
