I watched like 30 episodes of this anime yesterday.

ME! Someone who barely finds the interest to watch more than 1-2 episodes of other shows per day or doesn't feel like watching any anime for 3-4+ days was not able to stop clicking on that next episode button. I'm not saying it's the best shounen or my new favorite or anything but this show is binge watchable like CRAZY.

Some backstory....I had watched the first episode when the first season just started airing and I dropped it because it was during the time I was sick of shounens and it felt like watching naruto all over again. Then when it got poplular many months later, I watched the first season. It was alright but pretty forgettable. I put the rest of it on hold and watched other shows at a snail's pace. When I was done I decided to pick it up again from season 2 and the same day I reach season 3.

This show is quite similar in many ways to Naruto and DBZ and it has so many of the tropes of this genre but it also takes the best parts of it's predecessors and trims it to be condensed and fast paced with no fillers and great fights, diverse characters, cool abilities and villans, always has action happening without sacrificing the big picture of the story WHILE being addictive as hell. If I had watched this show in my younger days it could easily have been a top 3 anime.

30 episodes? That's a record. I suppose you must have watched an entire season in just one day. My highest record is 17.
I never watched more than that count. I never thought it is similar to DBZ. If anything it reminded me of one punch man, because of the hero concept.

Oh took me few minutes to figure out that we are talking about BnHA, just noticed the section the thread is in.
So it's that good huh? ._. I wasn't really planning to watch it but you make me reconsider again...

Good thing Bones made it seasonal and not a continuous long running show like its predecessors. I've been watching the show every week from season 1 religiously so it's good to know someone who's binge-watched it.
For me, season 1 was fine for the most part, it really hooked me during the invasion of UA in the last few episodes.
Season 2 was easily my favourite season. The tournament arc was great, the Hero Killer Stein arc still remains my favourite part of the series, and UA students vs Stein is my favourite fight.
I liked the first cour of season 3 the most out of any cour,  since it was fully a life or death scenario. One of my favourite scenes is Deku vs Muscular. The music, animation, score, voice acting, everything is perfect.
A consequence of both the Stein arc and the above arc is that I found the arcs that succeed them to be inferior. They were internship/tournament arc and since they weren't exactly life or death scenarios, I just couldn't find them to be as exciting.
The tournament arc in season 2 was great(and Deku vs Todoroki probably being the best fight), though for me personally the arc didn't reach the heights of the Chuunin exam arc from Naruto.
I'm definitely looking forward to season 4.
I presume you haven't finished season 3??

Damn, I think the most I watched in one day was about 10 and that's stretching it for me. My kudos to watching so much in one sitting.

Yes, but the next season also focusing on internships, at some point this exam/internship formula being used as a break between these intense scenarios is gonna get tiring. What should be done is to make them go to the next year instead of making them be first-year students for hundreds of chapters.

I think the whole anime is planned to keep them in school and when they graduate it ends.

:hmpf:   I watched more than 30 episodes when I was watching Haikyuu.
I guess BNHA gets better in season 2. Well, I will have to start watching it again. I never picked it up after watching season 1.
