I barely used it but it's been like 3 years....and I see these black horizontal lines on the taskbar.
Not sure if it's just me...but all the laptops I have used....got some or the other display issue, before I had to get a new one.

It's just that....I haven't used this laptop...... all that much ...and it's kinda expensive as I wanted 16 GB RAM and SSD hard-disk back then ;_; Now that I am jobless.....ugh....this is so gonna make me even more depressed.
Sorry guys just wanted to rant a bit.

I wish I could see what you're talking about. Unfortunately, I don't think a screenshot would reveal too much. Perhaps it just needs a good cleaning? Maybe there's some dust inside? What model is it? I'll put on my google-foo hat and see what I can find. I used to troubleshoot software back in the day, and laptops weren't my specialty, I'm a bit rusty now, but the troubleshooting techniques should be similar.

I don't think it's a software issue as I couldn't locate them in a screenshot.
Unless I have an eGPU, I wouldn't be able to do much and instead of eGPU(as it's expensive), I might as well get a new one -.-"

Yeah you might need to clean out the internals. Dust build up could be causing the GPU to get too hot, or there could be something wrong with your display. Have you hooked your laptop up to an external monitor yet? If the lines show up there, then it's definitely something wrong with the gpu. If the lines disappear, then it's probably a display issue.
