When looking for anime to watch, how do you decide what to watch? To me, it has to be like watching TV, you either know of a show because of someone else or you look up reviews for the show and see if it fits what you like to watch. Do you do the same thing with anime and deciding what to watch next?

I read the reviews and the synopsis(not the plot...........I am not the type who spoils myself)............If the synopsis is interesting, I add it to my watch-list..............And, I also check out the MAL rating and rank............It is almost always consistent with my taste..........

Nope but it must be some good popular anime, except the romance type i don't like such anime ^^

Yeah action thriller, Psychology,... love these genres.
For now it's still 'Attack on titan' and i guess it will remain.

When I watch a new anime, I decide by looking at reviews , reading about it, and looking at the already existing manga, although manga and anime are different from one another at times.

I get suggestions from people, come across pictures on the net, get it suggested to me as Netflix claims it's similar to what I'm watching. My boyfriend occasionally sends me the new anime list for stuff just coming out in the year and I'll judge from there. I just like to soak it all in.

these days i am picking up anime at random. they are good that way. sometimes you find really good anime hiding beneath other trashy anime.
