I'm with Madara in this case~. A few words in Hindi and I dunno crap apart from that.

I see. Well it's easy to learn if you are serious about it. Well, as long as you are in a state where you know the local language, you don't have to know any other language

It's pretty cool in Mumbai where everyone knows at least 3 languages if not 4 or 5.
Plus there are all kind of people, from those who speak broken English, broken Hindi or only Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, I even came across an Oriya family recently, Marathi obviously, what not!

Mujko Hindi seekhna important hai. Yaha koi nnahi Telugu Mei baat karthe hhei.

Is that correct kiddo? Kya wo sahi hai?

Pretty much correct.
You can use the word "zaruri" instead of important though.

My mother tongue is Gujarati, I had Hindi, English and Marathi in school, and I know Japanese. Makes it 5 yeah...

I don't know what you tried to say in the last sentence but I'll assume that you were trying to say
"How to say that in Hindi?" --> "Usko Hindi me kese bolenge?"

"I will try to remember" --> "Me yaad rakhne ki koshish karunga."

Where are you though? xD

Eeeeeeeeeeh? Japan? xDD
Nope, I'm still in Mumbai. It's going to take a few years before I can fly off to Japan :P
Plus, we are opening this Animal Welfare NGO here so I am reconsidering everything...

Well, there seems to be some sort of mistake then. I was told that you are going to Japan to complete some courses and such and continue your education there.

Wow, where did you get that from?
I do plan on going to Japan, but not happening anytime soon...My courses relating to Japanese are in Mumbai or Pune itself for the time being.

If you leave India at an young age, you will forget our culture

It is not like our culture is much treasured in every single part of our country anyway. It has been forgotten by those who disregard it in spite of being here.

I agree with that. I can't seem nothing but Western culture in North India these days..... Even in South India, our traditions are slowly dying. It's really painful to watch the transition
