How many chances would you give an anime?

I don't know man and it depends on how much I want to watch that show.
If it's bad enough for me to want to drop, I would drop it. If it's fairly popular then I would watch at least half of the anime before giving it up
 
I kinda know(at least these days) if I'm not liking something and I usually drop it. So if I'm just not in the mood for an anime I put it on-hold and revisit it a few months later.

That's cool man but if you pick it up after a few months, you will have to rewatch it from the episode 1.
I don't pick my dropped anime easily just for this reason

I don't read synopsis man and that's cool. You will save so much time by not rewatching those episodes.
Madoka is different man and it's hard to not to like it

Claraviolet. Not sure if she doesn't like it at all because she often uses Madoka to argue about tastes without realising how good and popular it actually is.

Probably because of the obviously deceiving initial episodes and the rather(obviusly deceiving) character designs.

Well, to be honest I have completed it but I was disappointed in that anime.
The only refreshing thing is how those girls doesn't seem to care only about this world.

Usually 3 but if the first episode doesn't grab my interest in even the slightest way I'm not gonna keep going.
