I have dropped gintama, devilman crybaby. I must have dropped even more but I don't remember them at the moment.
So what about you guys?
How many anime did you drop and what are they?

I don't know if you consider this dropping but sometimes I just watch one episode to check out a series and sometimes I wont like it and just not go back after one episode. I've probably only done this like 5-10 times.

If they don't interest you, then you wouldn't watch them even in the future. So they do come under the anime that you have dropped.
May I know their names?

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai: This was like a discount version of My Teen Romantic SNAFU for me, or more like an annoying version. I didn't like any of the characters, and it was a different kind of ecchi(loli), something I couldn't stand, and it was just incredibly boring.
Danganronpa 3: Boring and confusing.
Eromanga-sensei: Utter trash.
Gakuen Babysitters: Cute and inoffensive but not for me.
Houseki no Kuni: I heard that this is actually an excellent anime but the 3-D animation was kinda weird for me. It looked absolutely gorgeous, can't deny that, but I couldn't get used to it for some reason.
Joker Game: Stupidity galore.
Koutetsujou no Kabaneri: Bad-ass steam punk action gets repetitive after you see it for 6 straight episodes and I heard that it gets worse after that.
No. 6: Bland, convoluted and boring.

I also have a few anime in my 'on-hold' list which I'm sure I won't watch again.

I didn't hear any of them except no.6 and I did watch it because of Clara. It's not that bad but everyone got their own interests.

Eh, I don't remember their names I only watched one episode or so and never thought about them again.

Lots. https://myanimelist.net/animelist/BurnsyCEO?status=4&tag=

Not all of them are equally bad. The amount of patience I have for shows depends on my mood at the time. So there's some boring shows I have completed and decent ones I have dropped just because I felt like it at the time. Also I have to watch like 4 episodes before I consider it dropped. The kind i drop after one episode aren't important enough to add.

I see. 4 episodes is a decent number to judge an anime. Sometimes I do watch way more than that and drop some anime. Gintama is an anime that I have dropped. I watched 70 episodes and dropped it.

I didn't. Or I might have forgotten. I am not so sure but I don't remember it. In our family no one watches echi as far as I know

Kabaneri is an action series. It's that attack on Titan like series with zombies and steampunk.

Well, as you have dropped it, I assume you didn't like it at all. Zombies are not at all fun to watch. Vampires are more interesting to watch.

I've only really dropped 2 series out of the hundreds I have watched. One being the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and I can't remember the name of the other one.

I suppose I could add the first lupin the third series and case closed, but I would like to watch them if I had some way or the time to do so.

The first 3-4 episodes were beyond amazing but it got repetitive so that's why it became a problem for me.
Though, it has a lot of great points. The animation, the visuals, the really bad-ass metal aspect, the soundtrack, and of course, the exhilarating action.

No Game No Life is probably the only that comes to mind as one I was looking forward and yet it turned out to simply not be my cup of tea. I could not sympathise with the protagonists nor feel inclined to stay because of other characters or the plot. I think it is one of those that you know straight away watching a few episodes if it is for you or not. If it is for you, judging by the reviews on MAL, it will be a pretty good ride, but if it isn't it most likely won't get better.

I see. If I got more time and don't have any recommendations, then I would consider watching it.

I see. Okay. Thank you. I wouldn't be adding that anime to my list.
Did you complete watching Devilman crybaby? If not, how many episodes did you watch so far?
