How do you select a manga to read?

I usually choose it according to the reading reviews, but - seeing how I am usually influenced by aesthetics - I also take into consideration the art and style of the manga. I might read mangas that are not particularly popular, if the art style is original and catches my attention and if I find some reviews that recommend them.
