How do you define 'success'?

How does someone know they're successful?
What makes others view someone as successful?

Some people define success by how much material stuff they have so for example, a big house or big car.<br />
<br />
Some people define success by their career or fame so for example a famous pop star or CEO of a big corporation like IBM.<br />
<br />
The way I define success is how happy or content I am with my life and my goals.  I don't compare myself to others and try to focus on my life rather than others.  I think the most important aspect of life is love and relationships so if you are loved and feel loved, that to me is success </p>

In my point of view success is nothing but self satisfaction and feeling to say I done a good job in a good manner.

Success can't have parameters to measure and we can't express also.
