How did you discover anime?

What led you to discover anime?

I learned about it from friends that I had growing up. I didn't really know the term for it or even that it was a distinct genre from other animated series until a few years later, though.
 
Well I grew up watching Pokemon and such like lots of others, but it was mostly the internet and Japanese games like FF that got me interested in anime as a whole.
 
From my childhood, it was something that we used to watch every day and as such got very used to it till adulthood. There are so my cool amine that adults love now.
 
Got hooked on Anime, shortly after my childhood friends introduced me, and after my parent's got a cable subscription. Been fun and games since then. :D
 
I watched many anime movies when broadcasted in TVs. I was not into that much, but short after watching Pokemon TV series my interest started to grow.
