Hellsing manga and anime

Honestly, I didn't watch elfen lied because of the nudity and I don't want to watch things that are closer to hentai. I agree with itachisasuke on this. Some things after censoring and with much simplification can be released for younger audience as well. I hope I am making sense in a way

well, the nudity is not the issue in Elfen lied and well, it's so far off from Hentai that you missed the point in miles... i can't see the use of censorship... life is not censored and the awfully hurting subjects that are passed through those "R" rated Anime's can never be understood in a young age like 13 or even 18 sometimes, like i teach my daughter, All in good time. no kid should dwell on how rotten society is from the inside before they even know what it is. that's just one subject of many that are taught in time, knowledge is aquired and not fed, if someone wants to ignore certain things he can not watch or read anything about that subject, but some people are just not old enough mentally to understand the complexity of society or the mind of a war monger. that is why, they are not censored. because the truth is as ugly as gore in some subjects, the Mangaka see it fit to the subject and i see no wrong in rating shows R rated as long as the story and not only the graphic use of gore is present, people watched Elfen leid and didn't understand is at 19 and 20, so i can't say that it can be more simplified than the way it was shown also, Tokyo ghoul is very graphic but the story is really heavy and the meaning is very complex for a 13 to 19 to understand ofcourse depending on how mentally and intellectually they are developed.

Are you a tokyo ghoul fan? I have heard if many things about that anime including disturbing things.

you just ignored everything I said, but okay, i'll roll with your line of conversation. the fact that you hear and read things instead of judging it for yourself, tells me everything i need to know. but yes. i am a fan. i loved that show, every second of it, with the gore and violence, it wouldn't have been TG if not for that. the story was captivating and the animation was awesome. now, for the faint of heart, this show is not the right cup of tea. it is Extremely graphic. and you can find it censored if you want... my husband also loved the show, he watched it well after it was finished, but after a few times where that streak of light is streatched over the screen he got tired of it, so i just found the uncensored links, it wasn't easy i'll give you that, but if not for the characters expressions... this show wouldn't make any sense to anyone... it will only be left as "This was censored to dust because it's too graphic" instead of focusing on the story!! this story needed every ounce of the violence and gore it had, the expression of a character tells you everything!!

I don't think i know a woman who likes hardcore gore. If you like graphic things as you put it, I will have to ask you to watch guilty crown .

see, i don't mind the gore, if it's there and it's a part of a story i enjoy then i wouldn't mind it... I will give Guilty Crown a try. is it the Japanese title? i can find it anyway but just to make sure about the name.
But i did explain the fact that gore is just an add on to a story, i don't gett off watching it, if it's there and it's contributing to the characters and story brutality, i just can't argue on the fact that it's there, nor will i'd want to censore it. i think it's kinda selfish to apply one's will on an artist that worked so hard to present his story, same goes for real books... it's like freedom of speech... it could be very rude to take away an artist work and censore it to dust no matter what's in it.

It's not the Japanese title. I remember English names rather than the hard japanese names.
Have you read Hikari lit h club. It's the epitome of gore and violence.

Do not be a 5 yo with a lollipop. you might fall and get the lolly stick in your eye. instead of giving me Axioms! give me facts! genres, story line in your eyes, what did you think about the Mangaka's work? how would you rate your interest in the first episode compared to the amount of interest in the last episode, or chapters in case it's a Manga.
why is their work unique? how did he create a fanbase full of typical gore lovers? or did he find an awesome way or original way to gut everyone in his story? did he use a straw to empty the bellies of the characters ???
now that i calmed my ramblings ... please, tell me, what is so special about those shows that you mentioned ... ASIDE FROM GORE !?

Women behaves..now that I think about it japanese women are weird even in anime to let men walk all-over them. He is an asshole don't try to understand him. I saw guilty crown too and I would never recommend it.
 

it makes you think right?! lol but what they are into are submissive women... they are still as a country, way behind any other culture with women rights, but none the less, there are sparks of great minds and initiative coming from women in Japan, for example: Gangsta.

... i can't really comment on that... but in Gangsta. the women might not be bold, but they are not considered as weak either. that's the mind of a woman in the works.

I am sorry but I don't remember whether I have replied to this or not senpai. May be a good story does require good amount of violence. Otherwise it would seem like a kids game and the real world is nowhere near to it.

I can appreciate anime better than cartoon because of that.

if you go over the conversation, you'll see, that the violence is the writer and mangaka's choice, that is why, i don't think it should be censored, because it's like taking your favorite toy and breaking it... or taking your words and turning them to something else, the second it comes out of your mouth, so... kids can wait a little watching Gore and violence, if they can't... they will learn the hard way that it doesn't work. or they will be scarred for life. but all in all, a parent can't really prevent a 13 yo, from watching worse things than gore and violence on the internet, so.... censorship wouldn't work either way.
i appreciate every work, even if it's rated "G" or "R++" lol

Did you read the manga too? I know only one woman in the anime and she isn't exactly strong but I don't what else to say as she is a prostitute.
I don't have any respect for them, just my personal opinion.

Sorry. I blurt things whatever comes to my mind. I would like to see the uncensored links. Can I watch them, while eating something or they too graphic to watch while eating?

What if a story has too much violence but not enough good plot like high school dxd? I dropped it after watching two minutes or so.

Have you seen the uncensored version of tokyo ghoul? It's your typical gore anime and I don't get the charm of rize or even touka. I don't like anime like this which would rank higher because of it's art and nothing more.
