This is pretty insane if it's all they're selling it to be. I think everyone needs to watch this video. I was super hyped for till they said it was only gonna be for the US UK Canada and Europe at the time of launch. But to be fair it's almost magical that technology lets us do something like this.

That as well. Plus how long the games are actually gonna be on the servers I don't want them gone suddenly one day.

The concept is solid, but our internet as a very reliable utility is still years if not a good century away from supporting this. I know lots of people stuck on low end DSL or simple hotspots for internet because they can't get or afford anything decent.

That won't happen unless the whole concept fails in which case you'll have plenty of notice.

Google is no slouch so this isn't a valid comparison but given the recent number of closure of number of servers for a lot of games, including multiplayer-centric ones I wouldn't given them the benefit of the doubt immediately.

I think monopoly was gonna be there eventually, just like what Disney is doing to other forms of entertainment(with them buying Fox they even own the IPL now). But I never believed in the gaming as a service concept, and it's gonna be the bane of Microsoft. Let's see what happens.

If people stay there or not, someone has to be at a place where fast internet is simply not an option and won't be for a while to come. Even if you are in a good place, the connection might not always be stable.
