Genre that isn't popular in anime...

Every genre got decent number of anime. I do feel that sports genre isn't as popular as action or shonen genre.
What do you guys think?

Maybe it is not the most popular but a lot of people told me that they don't even watch sports but they surprisingly liked sports anime but I do agree it would probably be one of the less popular genres.
 
yaoi anime. there aren't many anime with that genre and it's not popular enough to get many listings.
 
I don't know many genres that are unpopular.
I agree with sports genre not being popular enough. May be even josei genre too.
