Gaara Vs Tsunade

Who will win this battle?

Both of them are powerful.Gaara is skilled in offensive techniques where as Tsunade is skilled in healing techniques.

This battle might lead to a draw :D

What is your opinion?

tsunade have monster strength and healing abilities

gaara have shukkaku which goes on ramage when its out of control and gaara himself is good with sand speels...

tsunade have chances to win but i think gaara will win

Tsunade got brute strength :D Her summoning techniques are quite good too.

Gaara is probably the youngest kage to ever come along out of all the villages. That being said, I feel he still has a lot of untapped potential. As it stands now, Gaara is a good match for Tsunade, making it hard to determine the winner. In the future, I would say Gaara would win.

In the present, it could go either way. While Tsunade can heal, she also does not have as much chakra as Gaara, I feel. Gaara seems to be able to always move sand, even at his weakest state. I'll also point out that while Pain attacked Konoha, Tsunade honestly did a terrible job at fighting, even putting her into a coma. Whereas she did an awesome job at healing the entire village. When it comes to Gaara vs. Dederia, Gaara did well, but still eventually ended up captured.

When it comes to the current war, Gaara did awesome at fighting the reanimated kages. Even against his own father who used the gold sand. I bet Tsunade wouldn't have been able to fight that kind of fight. I think the thing that really makes Tsunade a great kage is her amazing talent in healing and her brute strength. But in a kage fight, I feel the healing is really the only beneficial thing.

That being said, Gaara wins.

I was right about you :D Your discussions are quite good.
For now I believe that tsunade might win this battle because of her "reserved chakra"
She can heal her own body too which is troublesome for her opponent.

However, Gaara has his defense shield. While Tsunade is using chakra healing, he is kept safe in sand with barely any chakra being used. Plus, the reserved chakra for Tsunade is limited, it doesn't last long. I think in a fight like this, it depends on who can continue using their techniques the longest, and in this case, I bet Gaara has more chakra and uses less chakra for his techniques.

Gaara's emotional stability isn't good.He gets distracted easily and he suffered a lot.That being said,tsunade has a way with her words. Her senju power is great too. (Senju power deals with the agility of her body .She belongs to one of the great clans after all)

Gaara's weakness is "water" and tsunade's summoning beast is a bit related to water(more like slime which is powerful than water) :D

If we're talking about a fight with how Gaara is right now in the series (rather it is anime or manga), his emotional issues are gone. He even had a talk with his father in the fight during the current war, and his father apologized and said that he does love Gaara. Gaara is now at peace with everything.

And while we're on the topic of emtional states, Tsunade has a fear of blood. True, she overcame it. But you never know what could trigger it to come back. The only reason why it really stopped was because she realized she was hokage and couldn't let that weaken her.

Whereas Gaara used to be clueless on what bleeding meant, but now that he has bleed, it is no longer a surprise or an issue.

So in other words, if we're comparing emotional states, they both have it. And personally, I think Gaara has no chance of going back to his depression. And Tsunade wouldn't either.

Going to your water theory, I think the slime is more of an acid. But yes, it would slow down the sand. So I won't deny that would hinder Gaara.

But I still think in a serious fight to the death, Gaara would win. And that goes back to him becoming a kage at such a young age (16) and he still has potential, being at such an age.

I am talking a break from Naruto because of fillers.

I still believe that,it might lead to a draw.Just a hunch :D

But Gaara never fought in that war, so who is to say he wouldn't have gotten a title? Not to mention, the sanin thing was just a title given, and that type of title doesn't determine strength.

I think it could lead to a draw, but if it came to the absolute death, Gaara has more stamina, which would give him the edge to finish the job as they are both loosing consciousness. By the way, Gaara having more stamina is confirmed by Kishimoto on a release of stats for each character.

Um, the anime series is not on a filler arc right now, and in fact, Hayato (anime series creator) does not plan on having any more for the rest of this year.

Oh I see. I think the only filler arc after that is the Kakashi ANBU arc, and I recommend that one. It is good.

I am caught up on the manga... so hopefully me giving my opinions on fights aren't too much of a spoiler.
