Flu cures


Not referring to the brand named ones but the ones your parents may pick and grind of boil and force down your throat..the nasty tasting ones lol

This seems to be a hard pill for a lot of people to swallow but just because they're parents doesn't mean they know jack about medicine/chemistry/biology. They will cause more harm than good trying to cure people with their ignorance.

I'm guessing that you have never used one of these cures. Have you ever used lime and honey for cold?

Lime and honey don't kill viruses.Antibiotics do.

It may help your throat feel better temporarily but it is by no means a cure. I like to drink soft drinks when I have a sore throat because it makes it feel a little better for a while but I'm still gonna be sick until this thing passes.

Lime and honey has been used in my family and many around the world for ages and it's so effective that sometimes you don't even need antibiotics which is a plus for me since I don't really like meds

Well it depends on the flu.
If it's a cold, then lemon or don't or Citrus fruit should do the trick.
I don't know natural remedies for other diseases.

That's not what I am saying. I'm just saying that there are other cheaper ways than those things found in pharmacies to help people. If it's bad you will need antibiotics but if it's just minor you can cure it with home made remedies. It's all I'm saying. I know that there is stuff that can't be cured with home made remedies but there are natural things that can help to

Thank you very much. I was begining to think that Trinidad was the only place this was used

I guess that's fine? It's still just a fine line between just using it for minor stuff and people who reject doctors and use it for everything and end up making themselves worse/dying or killing their kids.

Well in the case of this particular remedy it would be foolish to use it for bad colds alone. I find coupled with the use of meds like antibiotics and cough syrup it works really well in bad cases.
