Unlike the original, this is a TV anime and not an OVA, so we may have to watch stuff weekly. But, take my words with a grain of salt.
 


Naturally I watched it, it was pretty great. Although, I was wrong, it wasn't the first episode from the second season, it was a true april fools prank and was actually the first episode from the third season!

Even so, I know they still got the spirit in making these next FLCL episodes.

Great but I have the Blu-ray version of FLCL plus there's no Toonami here so I'll have to wear an eye-patch to get seasons 2 and 3.
 
So I just read that FLCL alternative will continue airing on September 7th. It is weird they released it first since it come after FLCL progressive, so i wont start it until the time comes.

Yeah, this was genuinely great. Took my by surprise. I did think they'd air FLCL, but I didn't think they'd air season 3.

Well thanks to the very early S3 tease, she seems rather tame compared to season 1. Depends if she appears in S2 on what she might be doing though it is most likely to find the true person who can wield the pirate king powers (or whatever was being used at the end of S1)

Can't even imagine a tame Haruko lol. She's the physical personification of the insanity of the original season.
Yeah that was revealed to be her ultimate goal I guess. Let's see.
 
She just seemed tame in season 3, though I could be wrong since there wasn't much to show her off. Though after watching season 1 ep 1 tonight, she was wild right off the bat.

There's barely a month remaining so can't wait. Though it's strange to hear that it wasn't big in Japan initially.

Maybe. I mean if you look at some of their biggest hits, Code Geass, Yuri on Ice, Tiger and Bunny are pretty 'normal'. Although, Eva is very, very weird and it's the best-selling anime of all time. You never know.
