I don't think I would enjoy watching this but that concept right there, looks interesting.

It is extremely interesting. Even if you don't like it, it's visually batshit crazy.
 
You would be right in saying you finished watching this, except that we will be getting two more seasons of FLCL this year. Not sure if that will be a good thing, but if they are anything like the first season we're in for a long trippy ride.

I watched this because of that very reason.

Incest? Incest how exactly? There is none in this anime, despite how wild it is.
 
I also had to watch this in dub just to keep up but also so I could focus on what was going on. It was hard to follow along and it didn't really make sense to be but I stuck around for the cool music and just read an explanation and pieced it together after I finished it.

As I mentioned, I watched it in dub too. I usually browse reddit and mal before watching an anime to know what I'm getting into, and a lot of people suggested to watch it in dub.
The music was very, very good, yes.
I kinda pieced it together, but I required an explanation for a complete understanding too.
I suppose a re-watch would have helped to form it on our own, but I stopped doing re-watches.

This is one of those animes that you need to rewatch a few times actually, to piece everything together. Thankfully [as] has rerun it many times so I've come to piece everything together pretty well.

I imagine [as] will either air the whole series on their tv channel or throw them up for view on their website in pretty good quality pretty soon to drive up hype for the new seasons.

Yeah, guess so. I'm a bit surprised that not a lot of people know about the new sequels.

Really? I thought it was huge news back when it was announced. Then again, I guess not everyone checks out ANN website?

I don't use ANN and I heard a lot about it just from others and a lot of youtubers were talking about it.
 
Well hopefully word spreads more. Thinking about this though, does anyone know who will do the music? I really hope The Pillows return, they pretty much made the anime what it was.

Oh yeah, that soundtrack was beyond amazing. I sure hope they return. Do you want Haruko to return?

I read an article a little back that said they will be. It wouldn't be the same with out them, their music really made the series.
