First Lake Of Liquid Water Discovered On Mars

I won't have any successors cause I'm too ugly and poor for anyone to want to marry me and bear my children, and I don't see the point in perpetuating life anyways. Think about it: when you have a child, you basically condemn a sentient being to a life of struggles followed by death. Why would you want to do that to a being?

It's not like I'm planning to have kids or something either. I'm barely an adult know. But I do behave responsibly because I'm concerned about the Earth and the environment.

those little fuckers won't even think of the elderly and leave them to rot. why would we have to look after them? they could fuck themselves and we are not leading a very bad lifestyle.

As Sase said our lives aren't very good because our parents thought like that and we should make sure we don't think like that either.

Hmm.... Honestly I do care about earth and global warming and I try my best to not to pollute it.... But yeah eventually everything will end

If you imagine it as massive migration, transporting Earth's population to a different planet, than nope, that is never gonna happen. Most of us and bost of our successors will be stuck on Earth for the rest their lives, not matter what happens to the planet. Transporting billions of people between planets is completely infeasible :P

Long time. Remember me, the one who is in the silver wing pirates and is about to betray the captain to join the Marines?

Hi ^^/ That is an interesting way to make me remember, assuming I wouldn't remember you but would remember Silver Wing pirates xDDD When was the last time you saw your captain? : P

But yeah, of course I remember both you and that crew name =)

with our current technology it is impossible but in the future, they could develop something else and it will be easier to travel between planets and stars

It's been a long time and we haven't talked much before and I assumed you don't remember me. I don't think the captain logged in for years. Not that it matters, as I am about to leave the crew. You were in that crew. Did I remember it correctly?

there are trials to reach mars soon and it wouldn't be long before we made something that could help us living in that planet

That is true hopefully. Would be great if we have first people there in the next decade and a permanent base few years later. Living there is certainly possible, I am only arguing that transporting large number of people there (like hundreds of millions) won't happen. The only way for a normal person to get to Mars would probably be to become a specialist that is needed there =)

It was a good crew, you can't complain : P

I asked the captain to give me that position but she refused. How is that a sign of a good crew?

we can send people to mars now. may be that would improve and we can build bigger rockets which could take many people at once?

We can't. People are working on it, but it doesn't look like we will have the spacecraft and rockets capable sending humans there in the next few years.

Just to remind. So far the only entity that is seriously trying to work towards this goal is SpaceX, and they have never send a single human to space. They plan to send their first astronaut to LEO next year. The difference in difficulty between LEO and Mars is similar to going to the grocery store vs visiting the South Pole.

I am not so sure where you got the idea but so far we couldn't send anyone to Mars. It's not that simple at all.
Even in the future I highly doubt we could transport people on a very large scale

I remember reading an article that mankind are trying to get to the Mars. It's been a long time too. The launch window every two years...I am not so sure what's that supposed to mean...
