Finished watching and rewatching 2 animes today.

First is kekkaishi which I had watched on tv some years back and I gave it a rewatch since It's a really cool anime even though it's a shounen action and most of it's first half is pretty slow and fillerish.

The other is ima,soki ni Boku (Now and then, here and there). Its from 1999...! but it was a really good watch because it shows the most ugly side of the world with absolutely 0 sugar coating. The pacing is really slow at times and the story isn't that well thought out but for something that old it keeps you interested with the character's struggles if nothing else. Definitely not something i've seen in any other anime.I'm not writing a review because the top review is better than anything I can write.

i didn't think of watching these anime, until today. kekkaishi fillers are not bad or so i have heard. did you enjoy them both?
 
whoa, to watch both of those in one day since kekkashi is a rather big anime.

also surprising that someone besides me has watched Now and then, here and there. I agree, its a very dark and twisted world that I hope to never experience.
 
if you think kekkashi is dark, then may be you don't watch many dark anime. i would name some of them if you want but if you are not into dark anime, i would leave the names alone

Yes I did. The show really picks up after 20 or so episodes and becomes a lot like the soul society arc of bleach in some ways.

I wasn't describing kekkaishi. I like dark animes too.

I should have quoted. i was talking to the skeith person. have you watched no 6? it's a dark anime that would make anyone cry
