Finally got access to my MAL account again.

After the whole fiasco of the site going down and then being forced to reset my password and then saying my email was wrong even after trying every email I ever used multiple times.That had to be their data base being wrong. Then after a month they finally added the "forget email?" option and only then I was able to get a new password and login.
I've been using anilist for now (that I was able to make from memory :awesome: ) and it has it's ups and downs but I think it might better than MAL as far as the actual lists go.But MAL is still the superior database and because it has enough users to have scores that are actually accurate that the BS scores anilist has. I think I'll use anilist as my main from now on.

Nothing worse than not being able to recover your account due to a system error or that you may have typed something in wrong. Glad to hear you recovered it.

I imported my list to AniList as soon as I got access to my account, and while AniList is good, the only thing I like about it more than MAL is its rating system. Other than that I still prefer MAL. I haven't used it after I imported it.

Well, if the database is good enough, then it's okay to switch. I don't have any accounts in any websites. I don't keep track of anime that I have watched either. I just watch stuff when I feel like watching some anime
