But how? Was the VIP post count enabled? I don't see a lot of posts in the normal sections.

Not really. They count for the global statistics.
It wouldn't increase the user's post count but it would increase the global post count.

We are counting all the posts in our global statistics except for the advertising section and forum games.
That is the reason why the post count doesn't match to the admimcp post count

it was hard and i had to spend the entire day to get it done.
i was expecting people to stop by but none of them came online

instant replies are good but not always possible.
