I have rarely seen, DBZ fights ends within a few episodes. Compared to DBZ, DB super fights were sort of short.. Just... sort of. Almost all arcs were lengthy in a way.. Frieza, cell, Majin buu.. To me, cell was the one that struck deep. Awesome fights. Awesome villian. It was just plain awesome. Majin buu saga was kind of different but that's where ya can see Goku's SSJ 3 transformation where he shouts for, I think 2 and half minutes straight.. Sean Schemmel , the voice actor just fantastically did that, haha. He's apt for Goku.
DBZ can dip low at some points but if ya have the mindset " Imma watch it no matter what" , ya will finish it off. In the end of Majin Buu saga, I got frustrated as well and freeza arc was here and there.

Since I was a kid .. star, I been seeing it. Back then vegeta was the antagonist. There's a thing called ozaru in DB, which refers to the ape transformation but it seems they have completely forgotten about it later.. Goku VS vegeta fight was just freaking awesome..

Now that is lame, haha .Btw, i dont think goku used spirit bomb on vegeta or maybe i forgot.. i do remember Gohan beating the shit out of him, in ape form. The old DB is awesome. Back then i used to see in TV .. The wait for each episode drove me crazy. This was like 15 years ago.
