Dragon Ball Z, the problem with Cell and Buu saga

Inferior to Namek saga. Lot of people agreeing about this. But why? Here is my version's reason why...

The action intensifies but story is getting weaker. Just what is Cell and Buu saga all about? Simply all about 'heyyy.. let's stop the bad guy!' too shallow compared to Namek saga which is about adventure to collect the dragon ball in other planet and have connection to the history of Saiyan race. Plot twist of future Trunk help Cell saga little bit, but Buu saga? There's nothing exciting story wise

Super Saiyan fall from Legendary being to spare change. Suddenly future Trunk become Super Saiyan, Vegeta too, Gohan too, even nobody like Goten and kid Trunk too. OMG

Cell and Buu is just plain and boring characters. They are just bland! Look at Cell, he just want to become perfect being, that's all, then what? Buu is just a manchild before becoming a tarzan-like character

This is where Akira Toriyama spamming regenerative ability for villains, i've been talking about this before on other thread, this is boring and makes the result of the fight prediction, not too exciting like what happened to the fight with Raditz, Vegeta, and Frieza

Agree to most of it but I still enjoyed them both immensely. They didn't feel repetitive at least. If you don't like super saiyan being reduced to something anyone can do don't watch super.

That shit made me mad. She went from not bing able to go super saiyan to going SS2 just by seeing how it is done? Just spits in the face of the back breaking hard work and training and fights that made goku and vegeta warriors worthy of reaching that level. Nice way to ruin your franchise.

I can't believe that too, like.. 'eh.. that easy??' and that's because she's a genius? More like poorly written character to me haha.. i never like Caulifla after that

And that whole arc has people like roshi and krillin fighting alongside goku and vegeta? What a joke. The power levels weren't always consistent in DBZ but he just decided to throw it all fucking out and ruin all the skill and power development from all those fights. through the series.

An attempt to revive old characters but failure

I pretty much agree, this series is based on about gathering the seven orbs to make a wish. it did work out with the battle to defend earth since it was meant to keep the balls out of Vageta and Nappa's hands but it seems the series has grown more plain these days.

action anime, doesn't always have a good plot.
and mangakas can't come up with a good story every time.

Well at least they should have new idea or concept about their characters

not always possible for a long series
their personalities might clash and even the character design would lose the originality

Actually.. Dragon Ball is not that long. Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z is different in nature, so personally i see them as different series, like Naruto and Naruto Shipuden
