Dororo episode 6 discussion

This anime really holds nothing back when it comes to misery huh. Nobody might be safe. Though I feel the shock of the scene where we discovered all the kids were dead was somewhat poorly done. Must be just me.
 
If you are referring to them not showing actually killing them I feel like it'd enter edge territory and I wouldn't want that honestly. Revenge of the Sith did the same and not in a good way.
Personally I think they could have done better with the fore-shadowing. It was a bit obvious when she said she was gonna work for both the camps, and especially when she was being tailed.

When dororo found out we as an audience also got eased into it from a couple pf shots of a burning house and I think some dead body.. It made us expect what was shows right after and wasn't a big shock.

Yes that as well I think they could have done a better job to lead up to it. Still it was satisfying(IMO) to see Hyakkimaru go berserk.
