We meet the old hermit this episode, the one from episode 1 who recognised Hyakkimaru with his vision. And Dororo and Hyakkimaru form a team now I guess.
Honestly I love this sort of medieval setting, we have an over-abundance of fantasy anime with hyper-detailed cities and lots of people, this one actually legit feels like a place from a few centuries ago. If this is gonna be the sort of anime in which they go from place to place slaying demons I think there should be at least 3-4 members to have an interesting dynamic, given that Hyakkimaru doesn't speak for now.
I sort of liked the final fight but the village story arc wasn't anything memorable.
