That's true.
I do plan to watch all of them without picking up any new anime. So it shouldn't be an issue

I like happy endings more, but if done well, a bad ending can be just as good.

Although happy endings are nice, I prefer the substance of the story. Real life is rarely happiness, sunshine and rainbows. Seeing fictional characters push through their challenges to achieve, maybe not happiness, but that they're alright is motivating to me.
