Do you usually notice additional details when you rewatch an anime?

I do . I have been rewatching Bleach and I notice a lot of details now.

when we already know the story we try to see how it's executed and how the anime was made and that gives a new perspective lol

I would but I don't remember rewatching any anime that I remembered most of the main story.
May be one day I will give it a try.

Sometimes, specially if I watched it subbed first and then dubbed, allowing me to focus more on the picture.

I always watch an anime multiple times, never back to back though. I give it time to sink in, watch other anime, then I'll come back with a fresh set of eyeballs, and I have a blast finding all the little tidbits I missed during the previous times watching.

In fact, now I have yet another reason to rewatch anime... my wiki. As a fan-fiction writer, having quick and easy access to little details can help add flair to any story.
