i think they are lol
most of the people, as long as they can get away with something , they will try to do whatever they want
 
100% yes! I know not everyone is, I even knew a guy who would go out of his way to help anyone out. But at our core, humans are selfish for sure.
 
I disagree with "We only unite when there is a threat from outside". I think it's more accurate to state that we only unite when there is a threat that directly affects ourselves AND it happens to affect others.

Yes, most human beings are inherently selfish.
Generosity is an evolved and matured experience that usually manifests after hardship.

if it doesn't effect all the individuals, then it wouldn't be the same

You are right. People don't unite unless something effects them and also it should be a common denominator in their lives.
