Do you think limit exists for an anime protagonist?

I'm just referring to the strength of an anime protagonist. Do you think they will have a limit even at the end?
 
Well, if it exists, then it's hard for the story to progress at a later point of time.
So the answer is no.
 
the answer is always no.
these people try to leave a way out in case a new season or episode or movie comes out in the future for that anime
 
I want to say something like "definitely not in any shounen anime", but I can't really think of any anime where there was a hard cap. Maybe something like Death Note? But idk as a lot happened to push the story a long.

Death note sure is different but if the mangaka wants to, they could probably introduce the concept of death god hierarchy
